 Joel Slim Pure Indigo from Companion Denim is crafred from 15 oz. Red Cast Zimbabwe Cotton Selvedge Denim. These beauties feature the best of the best found in a premium pair of selvedge jeans. From the rigid Japanese woven 15 oz selvedge, flat-felled inseams, chainstitching, and reinforced pockets, these handcrafted jeans are a connoisseur’s dream.

Made in Companion’s best fit, the Joel Slim, a mid-rise silhouette with a nicely balanced top block and leg designed to fit well on most body types. These run small so going up a size is recommended. the model is usually a size 30 but is wearing a size 31.

Now let’s get into the denim! The hand on this 15 oz. denim is rigid but you can tell they will break in nicely from the first wear. On the surface, the warp is dark indigo with with visible cross-hatching that adds texture and will allow vertical and horizontal fading. A classic white weft is used on the underside.
