GTB Double Pocket Jacket From Momotaro is their version of the classic Type 2 denim jacket. Modern touches include a slimmer silhouette and added length in the body. Crafted in Okayama, Japan from their original vintage 15.7 oz. selvedge denim milled from 100% Zimbabwe cotton. 

This model has been one-washed making it easier to wear right away. Each jacket has been rinsed in ocean water on the shore of Kurashiki City in Okayama. The 2105SP is a pleasing addition to any denim connoisseur’s collection.

Features Momotaro’s famous pink selvedge ID on the inside placket, back pleating, iron buttons, and a deerskin patch. Go up one size from your normal size. The model is 5’8″, 165 lbs, and is wearing a size 40 (normally wears 38 in North American brands).

The SP series showcases the famous “Going to Battle” stripes on the back right pocket. These stripes are a symbol of Japanese tradition that represents honor, strength, and the flag that was carried by Momotaro (Peach Boy) in Japanese folklore on his journey to defeat the demons (oni) of the Onigashima (ghost island).
